Here are some things you can be praying for on each day that we're on the trip.
June 30: Pray for our flights to Costa Rica and that we would get through customs with all of our bags and make all of our flights.
July 1: Pray for team unity as we spend the day merging the Costa Rican team with our team and getting to know each other.
July 2: Pray for safety as we travel to Upala and meet the mayor, teachers, and people in the community.
July 3 -July 5: We start ministry in Upala at the local schools. Pray for safety as we work construction and that the people in the community would see the love of Christ in us. Also, pray that God would give us favor with the people of Upala for our kids clubs and medical clinics.
July 6: Pray for us as we worship and do outreach with a local church, Jerusalen. Pray for the teens that we could reach out to them.
July 7-July 10: Please pray for us as we continue to do ministry in Upala. We will for sure be tired by this point, so pray that we would be gracious and put the needs of others ahead of our own needs.
July 11: Please pray for safety as we travel to Quepos for team bonding and local ministry. Pray that we would get rested up for the next part of the outreach in San Jose.
July 12: Pray for safety as we travel back to San Jose and begin ministry with Neos, our host church.
We will stay the next few nights with host families from our host church, so pray for our Spanish.
July 13: Pray that God would give us a great day of worship and ministry with our host church.
July 14: Pray for our last night together with the other team and our host church as we worship and debrief.
July 15: Pray for safety as we travel and that we would get through customs in Dallas Fort Worth in time to catch our connecting flight.
